Reston is home base. We live and work here, so most of our jobs are a few minutes away. Housing here is a mix of cluster townhomes, single-family homes on wooded lots and condos around the lakes and Town Center, most of it surrounded by trees and walking paths.
Homes near the lakes and stream valleys stay damp longer, which means mildew comes back sooner. A yearly wash keeps it from building up. Heavy shade keeps surfaces damp, so walkways and the north side of the house tend to grow green algae fast. That is usually the first thing we hit. On townhomes we work tight spaces carefully: front stoops, small patios and shared walkways, without spraying the neighbors.

"Blaze did an excellent job power washing my stone patio and cleaning off all the dirt that accumulated over the winter. He's very courteous and very responsive. I highly recommend his services."John Meehan
"Great job at a reasonable price. Evidently he does a lot of our neighbors' windows and everyone is happy with the job. Would recommend."Google Reviewer, Reston

Usually, yes. Extra moisture means mildew and algae grow back sooner, so homes near lakes and streams benefit from more regular cleaning.
Pressure is matched to the surface. Concrete can take more; siding, wood and softer stone get a gentler wash.
